Chapter 2
In Chapter 2 of the Connected Educator they talk about the different types of technologies that are used today and how it has improved in the 21st century. My future profession as a speech pathologist, there will be many updated tools and technology devices that come along the way. I also believe that there will be workshops that teach the speech pathologist new pedagogy from an outside expert and than are expected to take the learning back to their offices to test it out. As a future speech pathologist, I can see where it can be difficult to implement a change when it comes to teaching a student something different than what they are used to. In this chapter it talks about how interactive communications with students, coworkers, students families and such are disconnected from other inputs such as mass media, curriculum documents, and reports.
